Overcome Panic Attacks
When it comes to people trying to overcome panic attacks,
the most frustrating
thing for me is seeing people only trying one or two
things to cure their anxiety and then giving up on
themselves.
Determination
You have to have a
ferocity and determination that you'll keep trying new things
until you find a cure!
It is possible to overcome panic attacks if you are open to
new and alternative treatment methods.
Daily Habits
The hardest thing that prevents you from trying to overcome
panic attacks is your daily habits. Your habits determine
your quality of life more then you know.
That is the bad
news. The good news is that a good habit can form
after just 21 days of a repeated behavior. So just focus
on changing your behavior 21 days at a time.
If you are like me you are likely suffering from panic
attacks and may have not even told your spouse or your
best friends that you're suffering from them. But just
like me, you can cure your panic attacks.
What Worked For Me
Here are 5 of the most important things that have helped me
to overcome panic attacks, and I believe that they can help you
too.
1. Change in Diet
I was probably like most people and ate too much fat and
drank way too much caffeine. Although I haven't stopped
drinking diet coke, I now drink much less of it.
2. Change in Work
Another big factor is that I changed jobs. While this might
not be possible for most people, it can be one of the biggest
sources of stress in your life.
3. Panic Away
Panic
Away is a great product and resource if you can afford it.
It has helped me to dramatically reduce the amount of anxiety I
feel and has eliminated my panic attacks with their famous
One Move
Technique.
4. Visualization
I've always been an athlete and I know the power of
visualization. By visualizing my days as panic attack
free I have had less of them, and have lead a more peaceful and
productive life.
5. Positive thinking
Not to sound all wishy washy, but positive thinking really
does work. One of things that brings on panic attacks is a
downward spiral of negative thinking. It's completely natural
for your brain to have negative thoughts, which is why you need
to train it to have positive thoughts.
It has been about two years now since I've had a panic
attack. And while I still have a slight fear that they might
come back, they have not so far.
Much of this I can
attribute to changes in my habits, but also to reading Panic
Away.
One Last Thing
If I could just give you one piece of advice, it is to have
confidence in yourself that you will find a way to overcome
panic attacks.
